Listen to the empowered women around you. Whether that is your mother or a star in the media, a woman is powerful with her influence. Obviously, Anne Frank and Audrey Hepburn are two different kinds of empowered, while Anne may have not been in control of her situation she remained focused on her dreams and constantly confident. Being empowered is not defined by how society perceives these women but their resilience to not give up on themselves and their ability to embrace their strengths. All of these women knew it was their right to go after who they wanted to be, and were unapologetic for it. These women are fearless and jump at opportunity to challenge themselves. These women spoke their mind despite popular opinion then stood proud. Having an empowered woman as a role model is so beneficial. Who in your life inspires you to go after your dreams? How does this woman handle hard times and how does she look holding her head high? Find these women in your life and support them as you embrace yourself. If you can, be that strong woman for someone else. You’ll find its an addictive thing to stand together.
